So elegant, so classy, so graceful, so kind
When Jesus was thinking who to create in His likeness
He had you in mind
I have no doubt, He had a plan
It took a special type of clay
So He went to the depths of the land
You see it is hard to find that certain type
Of indestructible clay that does not break
So proud to have such a wonderful role model
To call my aunt and to know your walk with Christ wasn’t fake
I tried to mock you in all my years
Now I am trying to hold back the tears
It was such a blessing for God to allow you
To lead us here on earth
But now He has beckoned you to come
To the place of your spiritual birth
Gone from our sight, but not from our minds
We didn’t want to share you, but Jesus felt it was time
So far above rubies, you taught other pastor’s wives
It takes a unique person to teach others how to live
You have to teach it and live it
And that is exactly what you did
My role model, my aunt, my friend, my counselor
I love you and will miss you, today and forever
